I Cringe EVERYTIME even the name of this movie gets brought up, and hear banjoes. I'm kinda wonderin' what everyone else thinks of this too. Poor, Poor Ned Beatty. Ouch!

Gwen, It's the Dueling Banjo scene from the movie The Deliverance. Old Movie, 70's, I think. With Burt Reynolds, John Voight, and Ned Beatty. Ever see it????
Ok, I have the movie playing AND Zepplin. My head is going to explode. But, I like the music. :-) As for Deliverance, I have a story. A few years ago my husband and I and a couple of friends went canoing way out in Western North Carolina. As we were going down the very isolated river, we heard gun shots. We looked up to see this very drunk, creepy looking guy throwing beer cans into the river and shooting at them. He almost got us! We were NOT happy. That evening, why, I don't know, we watched Deliverence. I haven't been canoing since and have no desire to. :-o

When ever I put up a new post that has a video, I always adjust the html in the template of the prior video, to stop it from auto-playing. I'm wondering if you refreshed my page, if that would take care of the problem? Please let me know.
I can't believe how old that movie is, seems like it was just yesterday that we were watching it at the theatre! In one way I can appreciate the Dueling Banjo music, but in another I (and probably everone else) will always associate it with this movie and with the horrible Ned Beatty scene. "Squeal like a pig!"
Burt Reynolds was pretty good looking back then. Jon Voight didn't look so bad either.
I always refresh the page when I go to a blog as sometimes new posts don't show up if the page isn't refreshed. Right now I have the dueling banjos happening and Billy Joel is singing over them.
Dueling banjos only with IE. No Billy.
Gabe said the same thing! When using Firefox, she gets both videos going. When she uses IE, she doesn't. It sounds like Firefox doesn't recognize some html. Weren't you having problems with firefox in other areas too??
