Let Me Go Crazy On You"

*Jams on Air Guitar as the crowd goes Wild!*

*Imagines Cameras flashing as the paparazzi edges closer*

*Basks in the glow of Stardom as the whole audience Chants for an encore*

*Realizes that was just done in front of the whole damn Blogosphere*

*Doesn't Care and continues on with the Rock & Roll Party in my mind*

"I was a willow last night in my dream
I bent down over a clear running stream
I sang you the song that I heard up above
And you keep me alive with your sweet, flowing loooooooooove!!!
Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy
Crazy on you"

It's going to be a Serious Rock & Roll Week, next week and I can't wait.
To kick off the week, Starting next Wednesday on Aug. 20th,
I'll be seeing Kid Rock at the Finger lakes Performing Arts Center.

The following day The New York State Fair opens, and with it will be a whole bunch of decent music, both free and paid concerts.
On that first Saturday, I'll be rocking to Joan Jett, as this is a free concert. I'll be seeing her in the daytime and then at night, I've got tickets to see Journey, Heart,*Jams to air-guitar again* and Cheap Trick as a triple header concert.
As I also know it's also someones Birthday that day, a very Happy Birthday to you! *psssst* (Hey Birthday Boy, did you check out (down below) the *other* free concert I'm going to see on the following Thursday, Aug. 28th???) :)
On Sunday, Aug. 24th, another free concert with The Outlaws! I haven't heard them in what seems like forever! Just remembering the kick ass guitar playing in "Green Grass and High Tides Forever" just brought goose-bumps on my arms. I love Love LOVE that song!
Tuesday, Aug. 26th, the Free Concert is Eddie Money and paid concert for that day is a double header with Boston and Styx. Though I don't have tickets for this one, I'll still be there. Actually, I wouldn't mind getting tickets, I'd love to see them both....again. :)
On Thursday, Aug. 28th, I'll be again rocking out to the one and only Ted Nugent. (Hey Birthday Boy, ya read that???....AND.... it's a free concert. :)
I'll be seeing all the above concerts, hopefully including Styx and Boston!

The Goo Goo Dolls will be here on Aug. 22, Def Leppard on Aug. 24th, and ZZ Top on the 25th, though I currently don't have plans to see any of them.

Wow! What a line-up of Music, eh??

*picks up Air-Guitar and jumps on top of dining room table and jams again*

"Green grass and high tides forever
Castles of stone souls and glory
Lost faces say we adore you
As kings and queens bow and play for you"

I went and saw Kid Rock at the State Fair when he was there a couple years ago. I parked right next to the buses on the infield. (A friend who worked the concert gave me a parking pass to get in there.) It was very cool! Got some close-up-near-stage photos. He can yodel in my valley anytime. (lol) Have fun! :)

The first concert I ever saw was Boston. Sammy Hagar warmed them up -- this was the 1978-79 school year (college).

The Nuge was just here, though not free. I should have gone.

Eddie Money has always been a favorite as has Joan Jett.

It all sounds like a big time.

Lots of great talent. Most of the bands named here carry a memory with them. Ahhh, if I could go back to the 80's for a day ... I hade a huge mullet then. Ha haa!!

I am embarassed to say that that green walking girl to the right kepps on distracting me.

My header was found on the net. I wanted something that was not "square" and blended into my black backround. YOU have a really sharp template. Very appealing, and after my own heart with bright colors.

Have a blast at the show :-)

Gwen - I bet you'll let him do *more* than just Yodel! :)
I think I snorted when I read that. I just hope the weather holds out as we only bought lawn tickets.

Becky - Thanks! It should be a lot of fun. I somehow think I'll need to 'dry out' a bit after these 2 weeks are over. :)

Delmer - *YOU* didn't see The Nuge whe you had the chance to??? ooooh! Lookin' forwrd to hearing Stranglehold.

Speedcat - A mullet in the 80's THEE hair to have!! lol It's funny, about 8-9 years or so ago, I had seen KISS for their 'Farewell Tour'. It was somehow a bit, er, 'lacking' to look around and see that all these people who were 'rockin' looked a bit odd sportin receding hairlines and double chins!!! It somehow loses it's effect when one realizes this generation is entering into middle age! :)

Ahhhh, My Green Lady. She *does* have the perfect tush. And what a strut, eh??

I loved your header. Very Classy. I just didn't know if it held personal meaning to you or not, like if it came from your home 'town'. Nice job!
Thanks for the nice comment about my set up. I had revamped everything back in November. I like the way it came out, and you're right, the colors just "pop" out at you. I actually built it around my header that I found and fell in love with.
Glad you like!

AWESOME tour ZZ! That should be F.U.N! Love the Wilson sistahs, LOVE them (well, moreso their 70s stuff than their watered down 80s stuff, but...) '79 Dog & Butterfly was one of the best tours I've STILL seen o date. I saw Kid Rock a few months ago, here's the post if you're interested. Have a GREAT time! : )

"He can yodel in my valley any time" lololol gwen!

I can remember seeing Boston at the old Boston Garden. One of the guys with us barfed on the side of the road on the way back to Gloucester. Too much smoking during the song "Smokin"...we're cookin' tonight, just keep on tokin'. What a night...:)

Cheap Trick was forgettable probably because of who I was with.

Saw Journey with my ex up in Portland Maine in 1981 they were touring for the Escape album. The concert was "in the round"...round stage...and we had floor tickets, meaning we were up by the stage. I can remember them telling everyone to move back because people were getting crushed. Steve Perry had an awesome voice and the band was never the same after he left.

Heard Eddie Money at the Hampton Beach Casino once....he was cool. Love that raspy voice.

I still have the Outlaws "Ghost Riders" vinyl might enjoy this website...

Have you ever thought about buying Guitar Hero?

Rolando 7:47 PM, September 06, 2008

Summit of Mount Jo 9/24/10 A few friends were worried about me. They were worried about me hiking Mount Jo by myself, so I took this video to show how many people were around that day if I needed assistance. I even chatted with several and had a few people share a glass of wine with me at the summit. :) Mount Jo. 9/24/10 After the crowd left This is what the summit looked like... with no people on it. In the previous video I took, I showed all the people who had made this same hike to her summit.
