The process of making the photo is very cool. The photo itself is sort of sad.

Are those servicepeople who have been killed in action?

Delmer - Yeah, I think the photo is very sad. ;(

Yes, they are our service people who have been killed in action.

And even sadder still???....

I believe that photo was made in 2004. How many more have died since then???

Recently we just had someone local that was killed over there.

Rolando -
I looked up where I found this photo and added the *Correct* link to it on that post.

It was taken back in March, 2008 with photos from 4000 service Men/Women who died in that war.

That's sad, very sad. Thanks for posting the picture though. It's a good reminder.

I love hese kinds of mosaics; I've sometimes thought about attempting on myself. I agree with everyone else here though, this one is very sad.

Summit of Mount Jo 9/24/10 A few friends were worried about me. They were worried about me hiking Mount Jo by myself, so I took this video to show how many people were around that day if I needed assistance. I even chatted with several and had a few people share a glass of wine with me at the summit. :) Mount Jo. 9/24/10 After the crowd left This is what the summit looked like... with no people on it. In the previous video I took, I showed all the people who had made this same hike to her summit.
