Let Me Go Crazy On You"
*Jams on Air Guitar as the crowd goes Wild!*
*Imagines Cameras flashing as the paparazzi edges closer*
*Basks in the glow of Stardom as the whole audience Chants for an encore*
"ZZ!!....ZZ!!.....ZZ!!....ZZ!!....ZZ!!"
*Realizes that was just done in front of the whole damn Blogosphere*
*Doesn't Care and continues on with the Rock & Roll Party in my mind*
"I was a willow last night in my dream
I bent down over a clear running stream
I sang you the song that I heard up above
And you keep me alive with your sweet, flowing loooooooooove!!!
Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy
Crazy on you"
It's going to be a Serious Rock & Roll Week, next week and I can't wait.
To kick off the week, Starting next Wednesday on Aug. 20th,
I'll be seeing Kid Rock at the Finger lakes Performing Arts Center.
The following day The New York State Fair opens, and with it will be a whole bunch of decent music, both free and paid concerts.
On that first Saturday, I'll be rocking to Joan Jett, as this is a free concert. I'll be seeing her in the daytime and then at night, I've got tickets to see Journey, Heart,*Jams to air-guitar again* and Cheap Trick as a triple header concert.
As I also know it's also someones Birthday that day, a very Happy Birthday to you! *psssst* (Hey Birthday Boy, did you check out (down below) the *other* free concert I'm going to see on the following Thursday, Aug. 28th???) :)
On Sunday, Aug. 24th, another free concert with The Outlaws! I haven't heard them in what seems like forever! Just remembering the kick ass guitar playing in "Green Grass and High Tides Forever" just brought goose-bumps on my arms. I love Love LOVE that song!
Tuesday, Aug. 26th, the Free Concert is Eddie Money and paid concert for that day is a double header with Boston and Styx. Though I don't have tickets for this one, I'll still be there. Actually, I wouldn't mind getting tickets, I'd love to see them both....again. :)
On Thursday, Aug. 28th, I'll be again rocking out to the one and only Ted Nugent. (Hey Birthday Boy, ya read that???....AND.... it's a free concert. :)
I'll be seeing all the above concerts, hopefully including Styx and Boston!
The Goo Goo Dolls will be here on Aug. 22, Def Leppard on Aug. 24th, and ZZ Top on the 25th, though I currently don't have plans to see any of them.
Wow! What a line-up of Music, eh??
*picks up Air-Guitar and jumps on top of dining room table and jams again*
"Green grass and high tides forever
Castles of stone souls and glory
Lost faces say we adore you
As kings and queens bow and play for you"
