Let Me Go Crazy On You"

*Jams on Air Guitar as the crowd goes Wild!*

*Imagines Cameras flashing as the paparazzi edges closer*

*Basks in the glow of Stardom as the whole audience Chants for an encore*

"ZZ!!....ZZ!!.....ZZ!!....ZZ!!....ZZ!!"

*Realizes that was just done in front of the whole damn Blogosphere*

*Doesn't Care and continues on with the Rock & Roll Party in my mind*

"I was a willow last night in my dream
I bent down over a clear running stream
I sang you the song that I heard up above
And you keep me alive with your sweet, flowing loooooooooove!!!
Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy
Crazy on you"

It's going to be a Serious Rock & Roll Week, next week and I can't wait.
To kick off the week, Starting next Wednesday on Aug. 20th,
I'll be seeing Kid Rock at the Finger lakes Performing Arts Center.

The following day The New York State Fair opens, and with it will be a whole bunch of decent music, both free and paid concerts.
On that first Saturday, I'll be rocking to Joan Jett, as this is a free concert. I'll be seeing her in the daytime and then at night, I've got tickets to see Journey, Heart,*Jams to air-guitar again* and Cheap Trick as a triple header concert.
As I also know it's also someones Birthday that day, a very Happy Birthday to you! *psssst* (Hey Birthday Boy, did you check out (down below) the *other* free concert I'm going to see on the following Thursday, Aug. 28th???) :)
On Sunday, Aug. 24th, another free concert with The Outlaws! I haven't heard them in what seems like forever! Just remembering the kick ass guitar playing in "Green Grass and High Tides Forever" just brought goose-bumps on my arms. I love Love LOVE that song!
Tuesday, Aug. 26th, the Free Concert is Eddie Money and paid concert for that day is a double header with Boston and Styx. Though I don't have tickets for this one, I'll still be there. Actually, I wouldn't mind getting tickets, I'd love to see them both....again. :)
On Thursday, Aug. 28th, I'll be again rocking out to the one and only Ted Nugent. (Hey Birthday Boy, ya read that???....AND.... it's a free concert. :)
I'll be seeing all the above concerts, hopefully including Styx and Boston!

The Goo Goo Dolls will be here on Aug. 22, Def Leppard on Aug. 24th, and ZZ Top on the 25th, though I currently don't have plans to see any of them.

Wow! What a line-up of Music, eh??

*picks up Air-Guitar and jumps on top of dining room table and jams again*

Castles of stone souls and glory
Lost faces say we adore you
As kings and queens bow and play for you"

The 7th Side

>> Saturday, August 09, 2008

A masquerade of emotions.
Wants, desires. Hopes and Successes.
With a sprinkling of broken dreams thrown in.
Personal failures that continue to gnaw -
Our essence.
And carefully bound with self-woven thread.
Hidden from all that you meet.

Barring the one,
peering back from the mirror,
Who gets to see these?
In the deafening silence. The tick-tock of time,
Who becomes privy?
To such intimacy, at times both raw and sublime?

To All the World, they see (you show) the outside of you. A mask that boldly says, "This is me!!"
Almost like a figure of a box, drawn on paper, Two Dimensional at best.
Very few, according to you, have reached for the lid,
carefully lifting it, and with caring eyes,
peer inside.

"People like you, from what I perceive, are beautiful enough
to look on the inside."

This echos through my bones.
And haunts my very soul.

I cry myself to sleep wondering,
Why you couldn't reach for my own box lid,
Like I with you,
and gently peer inside.
Genesis 1:28
And also be, of the very few
That was privy to see The 7th Side.

My First Midnight Wanderers' Post

Please visit The Society of the Midnight Wanderers to read it.
The link would be The Black Crow on my sidebar.
Grab a cup of coffee, a beer or a glass of wine, kick up your feet, and stay a while!
I am amazed at the writers there, as several have already published works!
A fine group of wonderful writers.

I've decided, that whenever I do write for them, I'll add a quick blurb here about it,
But I'll wait a few days before adding that writing on this site.
This will give those who read my blog an opportunity
to read some of the treasures that others have written there as well.

JD - I had left you a PM in the MW Forum. I just realized you must have done away with the email address I have for you, and it is the same email you have listed in the forum, so I don't know if you'll receive any notification that I sent you something.
S000000...this is *your* notification that you have forum mail! :)

Summit of Mount Jo 9/24/10 A few friends were worried about me. They were worried about me hiking Mount Jo by myself, so I took this video to show how many people were around that day if I needed assistance. I even chatted with several and had a few people share a glass of wine with me at the summit. :) Mount Jo. 9/24/10 After the crowd left This is what the summit looked like... with no people on it. In the previous video I took, I showed all the people who had made this same hike to her summit.
